Diaphragm (contraceptive)The diaphragm is a barrier method of contraception which can be procured by prescription only, as it has to be individually sized. When inserted correctly, this flexible latex cup sits just behind the pubic bone, covering the cervix. In order to be effective, it must be used in tandem with a spermicide, but it is far more effective than spermicide alone. |
