Death Valley Meth Lab

Death Valley Meth Lab is a political anarchist punk band from the San Fernando Valley, California. They created a unique style of American hardcore punk mixed with British hardcore. They were known for their anti-authoritarian and anti-establishment messages. The band had a large underground following in the mid-1980s. Things came to an abrupt end in 1987 when their singer unexpectedly joined the military. Soon afterwards the bassist (Satan) and guitarist (Bonebreaker Bob) were sentenced to Federal Prison terms. Many believe the charges were fabricated. The original guitarist (Joey Teenager) was shot and killed by a police officer in late 1990 during a routine traffic stop. "Shotgun Mike" (lead singer) served in the US Army's infantry was a combat veteran of Panama '89 and Gulf War in 1990. The band re-formed in mid 2000. They are currently based out of Los Angeles.
