CowesCowes is a port town on the Isle of Wight, an island off the south coast of England, on the west bank of the estuary of the River Medina. It has a population of about 16,000. Ferries run from Cowes to the Solent portsSouthampton and Portsmouth, as well as East Cowes, which is on the opposite side of the estuary to Cowes.This article is a stub.
