Cloth
Cloth is made by weaving thin strands of fibre into a sheet of fabric generally known as "material". Cloth is woven on a loom. Cloth may also be knitted or made of felt.Cloth is most often used in the manufacture of clothing or household furnishings. It can be made from natural or artificial fibres, in many varying strengths and degrees of durability, from the finest gossamer fabrics to sturdy canvas sailcloths.
Different types of fabric include felt, satin, calico, worsted and denim. The natural fibres used include cotton, wool, flax, and hemp; common artificial fibres are polyester and rayon.
