Black and White

The computer game Black and White, developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Electronic Arts, was a god game released in 2001 which included elements of artificial life, strategy, and beat 'em up games. It has been called the "spiritual descendent of Populous".

Black and White is how the first films, including silent movies and the first tv programmes were made. Even now in Britain you can have a Black and White tv license which costs less than a colour license, providing you have only have black and white televisions.


Black and White means clearly, especially when written down.


Black and white is also the two sides in the games of chess (sometimes it's red and white), checkers or draughts, go, Othello, Backgammon etc.
