Bisham Abbey

Bisham Abbey in Berkshire was built during the 14th century by William Montacute, Earl of Salisbury. The first religious house on the site had been a preceptory belonging to the Templars. The priory became a burial place for the earls of Salisbury, including Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick. It was dissolved in 1557.
