Bicester

Bicester (pronounced 'bister') is a town in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire in England, its population is around 22,000.

Bicester has a history going back to Saxon times, and is currently one of the fastest growing towns in Oxfordshire.

The town has a long-standing connection to the millitary. One of the British army's largest ordinance depots is located just outside the town.

Bicester is off junction 9 of the M40 motorway. The town has two railway stations, one is served by Chiltern Railways train services between London (Maylebone) and Birmingham (Snow Hill). The other one has a branch-line service to Oxford.

Nearby places include Banbury, Kidlington, Brackley, Buckingham, Oxford, and Witney.
