Bergen Museum

The Museum of Bergen in Bergen, Norway, was founded in 1825, with the intent of building large collections in the fields of culture and natural history. The museum became the grounds for much academic activity, a tradition which has prevailed since the museum became part of the University of Bergen, which was founded in 1946.
