Berber
The Berber are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group living in northern Africa (Barbary) and Saudi Arabia. Historically, they are a nomadic culture, herding camels or plying various trade routes across the Sahara and Arabian deserts. Various Middle Eastern governments have attempted to settle Berbers in various communities, with only some degree of success.
The Berber is a horse breed developed by the Berber people.
In Morocco on August 20, 1955, a force of Berbers from the Atlas Mountains region of Algeria, raided two rural settlements and killed 77 French nationals during an uprising.
