Baja California Sur
Baja California Sur is a state in Mexico, occupying the part of the Baja California peninsula south of the 28th parallel. The state has an area of 73,677 km² and, in 2003, its estimated population was 463,500 people.
The state capital is La Paz. The state is also home to the tourist resort of Cabo San Lucas.
