Bachelor of Science
A Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a courses taken that generally lasts three years in the UK or four years in North America.A Bachelor of Science usually requires a student to take a majority of their courses (usually 1/2 or 3/4) in the sciences, namely life sciences, physical sciences, or the mathematical sciences. Most universities plan the Science Bachelor degree as a liberal arts course schedule.
A graduate of a Bachelor of Science, receives the designation BS or B.Sc. for a major degree and BS (Hon.) or B.Sc. (Hon.) for an honours degree.
