Asahi Shimbun
Asahi Shimbun (朝日新聞) is a national leading newspaper in Japan. Though the circulation is behind that of Mainichi Shimbun, the influence is considered greater. Its views are more conservative than that of the Mainichi Shimbun.The newpaper has an alliance with International Herald Tribune, publishing International Herald Tribune the Asahi Shimbun as their English edition.
