Aneirin

Aneirin (6th/7th century) was a British poet, author of the epic, "Y Gododdin". The poem celebrates events that occurred in around the year 600. Aneirin is believed to have been a court poet or bard, and wrote in the Brythonic form of Celtic, from which the Welsh language is descended.
