101 Dalmatians101 Dalmatians is a live-action movie made by the Walt Disney Company in 1996. It is a remake of the 1961 animated film One Hundred and One Dalmatians (which in turn was based on Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians).101 Dalmatians stars Glenn Close as the villainous Cruella De Vil. Unlike in the earlier versions of the story, none of the dalmatians talk. There is a sequel, 102 Dalmatians, made in 2000.
